Johana Bucci has devoted her entire career to public service and making Alabama communities safer. As an Assistant District Attorney for Mobile County, Bucci has delivered justice for Mobile County citizens against thousands of criminals. Bucci has successfully tried all types of cases to jury verdicts, ranging from burglary to capital murder.
Bucci’s commitment to service of Mobile extends beyond her professional career. She is actively involved in our community, which includes involvement in community outreach programs including, Big Brothers, Big Sisters of the Central Gulf Coast, The Fuse Project and the Alabama Coalition Against Rape.
Johana Bucci currently serves as the Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) lead prosecutor for Mobile County and also serves as part of the Domestic Violence Task Force. She previously served as lead prosecutor for Mobile County’s Drug and Veteran’s Court and the Circuit Court Team Leader for the Mobile County District Attorney’s Office.
Bucci’s track record and work ethic has earned her the trust of her colleagues, victims, and peers, as well as the endorsements of Sheriff Paul Burch, Retired Sheriff Sam Cochran and Retired District Attorney Ashley Rich.
